Tonight we walk from the car park
near the Teggs Nose Reservoir up to the Teggs Nose summit. Its a dry, sunny
night, but fairly windy at the summit of Teggs Nose. We reach the Reservoir,
which is located near Macclesfield Forest, south east of the town of
Macclesfield by passing through the small village of Langley.

Reservoir, on the right is a view looking towards the telecoms tower on
Sutton Common. The walk was not very far but it was a steep climb up!

Teggs Nose, centre image is Bottoms Reservoir and right is Ridgegate
Reservoir, with Shutlingsloe in the background.
On the left, both Teggs Nose and Bottoms
Reservoirs, centre photo is the small village of Langley and on the right
another view looking towards Ridgegate Reservoir. There is an abundance of
ripe wild Blueberries, especially on the route back down, yum!
Photo on the left is the path back down from
Teggs Nose summit, centre we spot a few wild apple trees and on the right we
are back down at Teggs Nose Reservoir.
