A few photos from today around
Stanage Edge and Ladybower Reservoir in the Peak District.
Views of and from Stanage Edge where windy
conditions made it difficult to stand still never mind hold a camera steady.
More views of Stanage and a waterfall close to
the Snake Pass. The rapidly thawing snow means the rivers and streams are
full to bursting with several flood warnings issued in the area.
Ladybower Reservoir in the beautiful Derwent
Valley was completed shortly after the second world war and submerged the
villages of Derwent and Ashopton.
