One of the two North American River Otters at
the Scottish Sea Life Sanctuary in the photo to the left above. The centre
is located 10 miles to the north of Oban on the A828 Oban to Fort William
road.
Lorne, born 1983, a male Harbour Seal resident
at the centre. He is one of the few rescued Seals the centre has not been
able to return to the wild over the years. The photo to the right above
shows views across Loch Laich to Castle Stalker, built in the mid 15th
century by Sir John Stewart, Lord of Lorn.
A very wet Tralee Beach above, deserted apart
from a dumped car. The beach is just to the west of the small village of
Benderloch and can also be reached from the A828 Oban to Fort William road.
