RUDYARD LAKE NORTHERN SHORE - 08/08/03
FLOWERS - 09/08/03

Tonight (08/08/03) we visit Rudyard Lake again, this time the northern shore of the lake. You can reach here from the A523 road running from Macclesfield, Cheshire to Leek, Staffordshire, turning off this road to head west at Ryecroft Gate, towards Congleton and then turn left onto a small lane just after a bridge. The weather is very warm again, dry and a little hazy.

For more details about Rudyard Lake, and the more popular southern side of the water please click here for details from our visit on the 20th July 2003.
This end of the lake is most popular with anglers and there are a few parking spaces here. It is thought that overall the lake receives 100,000 visitors each year.

The three photos above were taken on the 9th August 03, it must have been one of the hottest days ever in Cheshire!
