NORTH WALES - 16-19/06/07
Photographs from a long weekend in North Wales including the Conway Valley, Bodnant Gardens and Llanberis.
Threatening storm clouds seem to be a common sight this summer, they loom above Dolbadarn Castle near Llanberis before a heavy shower falls.
All this water makes for some spectacular waterfalls, as seen above at the National Trust's Bodnant Gardens.
More photos from Bodnant Gardens in the Conway valley, to find out more about Bodnant and see more photos of the gardens there is a page from 2004 which can be accessed by clicking here.
Llyn Crafnant, (centre photo) located near Trefriw is regarded as one of the most beautiful places in North Wales and is popular for both walking and fishing with a Forestry Commission car park and lakeside cafe. The River Crafnant, (left photo) runs from the lake to join with the River Conway which can be seen above at Llanrwst with the narrow Pont Fawr stone bridge featured. |
