The Llangollen Railway in photos above and

market town and is one of North Wales' most popular tourist destinations. |

Views from the trains above, we visit the
railway during the themed Thomas Week (24th July to 1st August). There is
lots to see and do around Llangollen as well as the railway, including the
nearby Valle Crucis Abbey, a Victorian School and Museum and the picturesque
Horseshoe Pass. |

Chain Bridge itself which looked like it had seen better days. |

At the end of the railway line is the small
village of Carrog, the station here is restored to what it would have looked
like in the 1950's. |

The Shropshire Union Canal is another big
attraction at Llangollen, especially the horse drawn boat trips that operate
from the wharf, as right photo above. |
