The picture on the left shows the view from the terrace along the 17th century Lime Tree Avenue towards a statue of Hercules. The 18th century lead statue of Hercules is one of many at the castle, including bronze Art Nouveau sculptures. | ||

Views of the courtyard in the castle are shown above, it was passed into the care of the National Trust by the Myddleton family in 1981. | ||
